Kord has a skilled management team that is committed to the long term growth and commercial success of the company. They include the following people who each have specialist and complementary skills across a wide range of commercial areas:
Uwe Boettcher (Chairman) is the Chairman of the ASX listed Homeland Security and Defence Company XTek Limited. He is also the Chairman of GPSports Systems Pty Limited, Capital Angels Pty Limited, Manuka Corporate Pty Limited and Pure Solar Pty Limited. As the Principal of the law firm Boettcher Law, he advises in corporate and commercial law. He has a distinguished legal career commencing at the tier 1 firm now known as Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries and a practicing Notary Public and was appointed as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance in 2005 and of FINSIA in 2007.
Peter Moran (Managing Director) has a Ph.D in marine science. He was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship to the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) where he undertook and led numerous research projects across a broad range of disciplines. He acted as AIMS' Director for almost a year during which time he was responsible (to the AIMS Council and the Minister for Science) for managing and leading that organisation. Dr Moran has been a member of the Boards of several research organizations including the Reef CRC. He is currently responsible for the day-to-day running of the Kord Group He is also responsible for all business development and commercial activities, including the raising of external funds to support continued growth and development.
Andrew Sykes (Director) is the Director of Business Solutions at RSM Bird Cameron (Canberra). He is a Chartered Accountant with 19 years experience in advising on taxation and financial affairs. He manages large business consulting assignments and is responsible for providing clients with high level financial advice and strategic initiatives. He specialises in assessing company financial viability, valuing enterprises and assets, as well as undertaking corporate reconstructions and successful “work outs”. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia
Hans Roser (Director) Air Vice Marshal Hans Roser served 35 years in the Royal Australian Air Force. Has a long association with the US Forces having flown with the USAF in Vietnam and attended the USAF Air War College. He has lengthy experience in Military Acquisition. As a two star officer he was head of the RAAF's Materiel Division including acquisition of the F/A-18 and Black Hawk aircraft. Since retirement from the RAAF he has served on the boards of a number of major Defence Companies including the Australian subsidiary of Brown and Root. He recently retired as a director of Thales Australia.
