SmartGrip RIC System showcased at AUSA and Land Warfare Conference

Kord Defence showcased the SmartGrip RIC System on the Team Australia stand at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Exhibition which was held at the Washington Convention Center from   the 22nd to the 24th of October.

The System, which included a new generic cable assembly developed in collaboration with Amphenol Australia, drew strong interest from the US military and several prime systems integrators.

Managing Director, Peter Moran, said that the company’s attendance at AUSA was a great success and had lead to several promising commercial opportunities for significant export sales.

The SmartGrip RIC System was also exhibited at the  Land Warfare Conference (LWC), which was held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from the 30th of October to the 2nd of November. Kord shared a booth with its partner Amphenol Australia.

The System and its new generic cable assembly were demonstrated to   a wide range of senior Australian military as well as representatives from a number of leading defence companies.

Business Development Director, Trevor Finklaire, said that interest at the Land Warfare Conference had exceeded all expectations.

Prior to the LWC Kord attended the DMO Integrated Soldier Systems Branch Industry Forum and also gave an invited presentation at the Diggerworks Forum on “Situational Awareness”.
